At the half, Houston trails by 8. Let's hope we'll be able to say that same sentence on Sunday afternoon.
The Celtics have looked good so far. They've played solid defense and have gotten balanced scoring, as 5 of the 10 Celtics who have played thus far have at least 6 points. Boston has shot 55% while holding Houston to 42%.
Here are some thoughts:
* Boston's bench is dominating so far. They outscored the Rockets bench in the first half, 36-9. Jared Sullinger is continuing his solid week as he leads the Celtics with 14 points on 7-of-8 from the floor, hitting a wide array of shots. Courtney Lee is also in double-digits with 10 points.
* The Celtics have done a nice job of running the Rockets off the three-point line. They've limited Houston to 4-of-14 from beyond the arc.
* The Rockets have taken 12 free throws. The Celtics? None. I'm surprised Tommy Heinsohn hasn't had a conniption during the telecast.
