Game 51 Preview: Kings at Celtics

The Celtics (17-33) will look to make it three wins in a row tonight when they welcome the Sacramento Kings (17-32).

The Kings are also looking for their third straight win. They are coming off a 109-101 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

Head coach Brad Stevens told "Gresh & Zolak" on 98.5 The Sports Hub this afternoon that Rajon Rondo is unlikely to play. He sat out yesterday's practice after experiencing general soreness after Wendeaday's win over the Sixers.

Stevens also said there's a better chance Avery Bradley will play tonight, but said the chances of him playing are "50-50." However, he will not play.

The Kings will be without Marcus Thornton and Rudy Gay.

Projected lineups:

Kings:
Isaiah Thomas
Ben McLemore
John Salmons
Jason Thompson
DeMarcus Cousins

Celtics:
Phil Pressey
Gerald Wallace
Jeff Green
Brandon Bass
Jared Sullinger

Keys to the game:

1. Pick your poison: The Kings have three players averaging at least 20 points. If you're the Celtics, you cannot let all three of them beat you. You have to pick your poison. It might want to be DeMarcus Cousins, whose averaging 25 points and 13 rebounds over his last two games.

2. Keep them under 100: In the 18 games the Kings have been held under the century mark, they're 2-16. Limiting their offensive effectiveness is vital.
